Norway Exchange Program

University of North Dakota law students may receive credit for summer law study at the University of Oslo, Norway. The program provides six weeks of instruction. Courses are taught in English by University of Oslo faculty members with assistance from UND faculty.

This program offers students specialized instruction in such areas as the Norwegian legal system, comparative criminal justice, and International Human Rights Law.

As part of this exchange program, fifteen to eighteen Norwegian law students also attend the UND School of Law during the spring semester. Several of these students have returned to complete the J.D. degree at UND.
