Lockhart & Lemon compete in Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Moot Court competition

The team of Michael Lockhart (left) and Timothy Lemon (right) competed in the 2009 Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Moot Court competition, sponsored by the Federal Bar Association in Washington, D.C.

The team brought home the first moot court trophy since 1981 - second place of 28 teams for brief writing. The team represented UND Law very well and were dominant in their two oral argument victories.

Kudos to Michael, Tim, and coach Prof. Bill Johnson for their accomplishments and hard work!
