UND School of Law Receives ABA Reaccreditation Approval

In 2007, the School of Law underwent its regular seven-year review by its accrediting agency, the American Bar Association’s Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. The lengthy reaccreditation process included an extensive Self Study authored by the faculty and staff at the law school as well as a three-day visit by an ABA Site Visit team in Spring 2007 to ensure that the School of Law remained in compliance with the ABA’s Standards for Approval of Law Schools.

At its April 2009 meeting, the ABA Accreditation Committee reviewed the last of the materials supporting the School of Law’s accreditation. The Committee concluded that the School of Law is in compliance with the ABA’s Standards. The School of Law remains fully accredited and on the ABA’s list of approved law schools.

The School of Law will undergo its next scheduled reaccreditation process in 2013-14.
