Circulation
The collection at the Thormodsgard Law Library is arranged in Library of Congress call number order. To find the call number and location of an item, patrons may use the ODIN online catalog system. Access to ODIN is available on all four floors of the library.
Items that circulate may be checked out at the Circulation Desk located on the second floor of the library. UND students, faculty, and staff should present their UND U-Card that serves as a library card. Members of Attorney Services should present their library card. All others may purchase an Unaffiliated Borrowers card that grants them borrowing privileges for one year for $15. The length of the check-out period varies from three hours for some Reserve items to three weeks for general materials. All items that are checked out must be returned to the Circulation Desk at the Thormodsgard Law Library by the specified due date. Items that have been put on "Reserve" status by professors or by the library staff are located behind the Circulation Desk and may be checked out by the patron.
