A poster proposal submitted by Professors Margaret Moore Jackson and Daniel M. Schaffazin was accepted for presentation at the American Association of Law Schools Annual Meeting.

Titled Educating Judges on Clinical Legal Education: A Staple of the Law Student Diet,” this presentation addressed the need to foster understanding and support for law school clinical education by an extremely important constituency within the legal community — the judiciary.

Professors Jackson and Schaffzin identified barriers to judicial understanding of clinical education and proposed strategies aimed at enhancing judicial support for the clinical mission.

Professors Jackson and Schaffzin presented their poster on January 8, 2009, in San Diego, California.
